Blundell Seafoods Ltd. was established
in Richmond,
B.C. in 1975, and is one of the major wholesalers of seafood
products in the Greater Vancouver and Whistler/Squamish area. We are one of the leaders and
innovators in the seafood industry, possessing a state of the art
facility situated on the banks of the Fraser
River in Richmond.
We have temperature controlled processing and packing facilities
and a cold storage facility that can accommodate 4 million pounds
of fresh and frozen seafood products.
Our 100 foot dock allows us to directly unload products from a
fisherman's boat and then process it immediately. Our fleet of
refrigerated trucks ensures optimum freshness and top quality for
the customer.
In addition to dealing with local seafood, we are also a major
importer of seafood products from around the world. New Zealand, Southeast Asia and South America are just a few areas from
which we procure new and exotic items. This importing power
enables us to offer our customers and their clientele a wide
variety of flavours of fresh and frozen
products on a daily basis all year long.
In addition to supplying the local market, we also promote and
export seafood products around the world. Our years of experience
and qualified staff allow us to meet the challenges of the
industry on both a domestic and international level.
